ATTENDANCE FOR EXAMINATION

          A Student shall be eligible to appear for final examination if she has a minimum attendance of 75% per semester (67.5 days for 90 working or 56 days for 75 working days)

          Condonation for lack of attendance on medical grounds shall be granted on the merit of each case by the principal in consultation with the college council up to a maximum of (7.5 days for 90 working days or 6 days for 75 working days)

          A candidate shall proceed to the next semester only if she has the minimum required attendance of that semester.

REPEAT EXAMINATION

          Failed candidate or absentees shall take the Examination in the corresponding semester only.

          However candidate in the final semester of the course shall  be permitted to appear all the arrear papers I, II, III, IV, and V. Semester in the final Semester .

        A candidate shall appear for arrears if any, of sixth Semester in the very next Semester itself.

        If a candidate has in the final examination but has failed for want of aggregate minimum, she shall be permitted to improve her CIA on payment of fees for each paper. The area of syllabus to be tested shall be decided by the course teacher in consultation with Head of the Department.

PASSING MINIMUM

       U.G. The passing minimum shall be 35% in the final examination with an aggregate minimum of 40% of total assessment (CIA and summative) for each paper in each Semester except for paper II English in which both external and aggregate passing minimum is 35%

       P.G The passing minimum for each paper in Theory and Practical shall be 50% for final examination and 50% for final examination and 50% for aggregate of formative and summative evaluation.

For Arrear Candidates

       "If a candidate after getting external minimum, fails for want of aggregate mimimum, she will be permitted to appear for external examination only. Hence internal improvement system is withdrawn. This shall come into effect from 01 - june - 2008.

        However, after the completion of her course, a failed candidate can appear for three subsequent years for the same paper with same syllabus. Therefater the failed candidate is pemitted to take up the current syllabus in use or equivalent paper as decided by the respective board of studies. This Shall Come into effect from 01-june-2008"
